By submitting my photos through this form, I confirm that:

I am the original creator and copyright holder of the submitted photos, or I have obtained all necessary permissions from the copyright holder to submit these images.

I grant the City of Hastings, MN, its representatives, officials and employees, (collectively the "City") a royalty-free, perpetual, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, publish and publicly display the submitted photos in any City publications, including but not limited to newsletters (both print and digital), social media, websites and promotional materials.

I grant permission to the City of Hastings, MN to edit, alter, modify or retouch the photos in any manner, and I waive the right to inspect or approve the images now or in the future.

I understand that submission does not guarantee my photos will be used. I understand that if the City does choose to use my photo(s) that I will not receive compensation and the photos will be classified as public data under the Minnesota Data Practices Act.

I fully release the City, and waive any claim against the City of Hastings, MN from any liability for damages of any kind arising out of or related to the use, modification or distribution of the submitted photos.

I hereby waive any and all claims for compensation, royalties or other payments in connection with the City's use of my submitted photos.

If individuals are clearly recognizable in my submitted photos, I confirm that I have obtained their permission (or their parent/guardian's permission if they are minors) to submit the image for public use.

I understand that by submitting my photo(s), my name may be published alongside my image. I will inform the City in writing if I choose to remain anonymous, after which no attribution will be made.

This agreement shall be binding on my heirs, successors and assigns.
