The City of Hastings Make Music Day 2026 is a community celebration of music on June 21. 

Held on the summer solstice, Make Music Day coincides with festivities in more than one thousand cities worldwide as part of Make Music Day. The whole idea for the day is to share the joy of making music with everyone that wants to take part, from professional to amateur musicians, as well as the musically curious. Musicians/Bands donate their time and talent for Make Music Day. The event is free and open to the public.

To apply to participate in Make Music Day, please submit the following application by April 15.
